Speaking

What I speak about.

Topics drawn from real work, delivered on real stages, not a list of buzzwords.

What I've delivered

Four topics, each backed by a real stage.

01
Delivered at Business & Leadership Expo, Northern Edition, August 2026

Digital Strategy & Marketing

I founded Digital Thread in 2023. Since then I've built websites, search rankings, and marketing campaigns for businesses across Botswana, and this talk is what that work has actually taught me about building a digital presence that works.

Formats: Keynote · Panel · Workshop
Good for: Marketing conferences, business chambers, corporate training days

AI, Automation & Implementation

Most businesses have heard about AI. Fewer have actually implemented it: chatbots, process automation, the everyday tools that save real time. I've built these for clients through Digital Thread. This talk draws the honest line between what's useful today and what's still just a slide in someone else's deck.

Data Protection

Botswana's Data Protection Act, 2024 sets real duties for any business handling personal data, whether they've read it or not. I've done the compliance work behind it for clients, including building the Digital Consent Engine. This talk covers what the Act actually requires.

Formats: Keynote · Panel · Workshop
Good for: Marketing conferences, business chambers, corporate training days, legal/compliance audiences

Youth & Civic Leadership

The Civic Chapter, the nonprofit I've run since February 2024, exists to get young people into rooms like this one, and back into them again. Backed by a SUSI fellowship on Civic Engagement at the University of Washington, this talk is about the harder part: what actually brings people back.

Formats: Keynote · Workshop · Panel
Good for: Universities, youth development programmes, NGO conferences
Where it started

Before Digital Thread, there was a magazine.

I founded Africa's Very Own, a youth culture and lifestyle magazine, in November 2018, and ran it for six years before handing it to the magazine's own editor, who now runs it from South Africa. Between 2020 and 2023 I also founded and closed Focul Media House, a media and content agency. Both were about the same thing Digital Thread and The Civic Chapter are about now: helping people and brands communicate something real.

How I show up

Matched to your event.

I also organise sessions I don't deliver myself: in 2024 I ran the Youth Employment & Entrepreneurship Bootcamp at Botho University with the HR Professional's Society Botswana, bringing in HR-industry speakers to cover career development, CV writing, and interview technique directly.
