Two organisations, one person, and a stage that turned out to be where they meet.

I founded Africa's Very Own, a youth culture and lifestyle magazine, in November 2018, and ran it for six years before handing it to the magazine's own editor, who now runs it from South Africa. Between 2020 and 2023 I also founded Focul Media House, a media and content agency, before closing it. Both were about the same thing Digital Thread and The Civic Chapter are about now: helping people and brands communicate something real.

I founded Digital Thread in 2023, a digital strategy and design company working with businesses and institutions across Botswana. It's where the Data Protection Act and AI-marketing material I speak about comes from: real client work, not theory. Full list of what Digital Thread does: Services.

I've been running The Civic Chapter since February 2024, a youth-led nonprofit built around volunteerism and civic engagement. The Volunteer Masterclass series, now on its second edition, is its flagship programme. I'm a 2024 SUSI (Study of the United States Institutes) alumnus on Civic Engagement, University of Washington, Seattle.

My work sits somewhere between digital strategy and civic engagement. When I speak about the Data Protection Act, it's because I've implemented it for clients. When I speak about civic engagement, it's because I've run the programme. Book a talk or start a project, and either way you're getting the same throughline.
